CAS decision dismisses appeal lodged by KS Skënderbeu
The longest ban ever imposed on a club by UEFA for sport competition manipulations has been upheld by The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
CAS said its judging panel “found to its comfortable satisfaction that Skenderbeu was responsible for match-fixing activities” in domestic and continental matches.
UEFA with a statement on July 12 welcomed the CAS decision to dismiss the appeal lodged by KS Skënderbeu against the UEFA Appeals Body decision of 26 April 2018.
GLMS is glad that it had supported UEFA with information on this case and was pulicly thanked by the Dutch Football Association for its support dealing in with match fixing suspicions against Albanian club KF Skënderbeu.
